INGREDIENTS:
8oz ground
almonds 8 oz castor sugar whites of 3 eggs a handful of blanched
almonds
METHOD:
1. pre heat the oven to gas mark 4 2. mix
sugar and almonds together 3. beat the egg white slightly 4. add
suficient egg to the almond and sugar mix, to form a paste 5. wet hands
and roll mixture into small balls 6. place balls onto a baking
sheet 7. split almonds in half 8. push half an almond into top of
each ball 9. put in oven and bake till light golden biscuit
colour(approx 20 mins) 10.leave on tray for about 5 minutes 11.move
onto a cooling tray 12.when completely cold store in an airtight
container
Will keep well if air tight |
